If you would like to give more than presents this Christmas check out our list of ways you can get involved in your community this Christmas:

  • Once again, we’re opening the Advent Centre as a winter shelter for homeless guests this year. We need volunteers! We need your help!
  • Saturday 22 December from 09:30 am
The community are invited to (our temporary place of worship) West Green Baptist church 182-184 West Green Road, London N15 5AF,

as we will be holding a Carol Service for the community.

  • Saturday 22 December from 4:00 pm

Tottenham SDA church members will be singing carols inside the Wood Green Shopping Mall, High Road, London N22 6LU – everybody is welcome to come and listen.

  • Christmas is not the most wonderful time of the year for everyone. For many people who are ill or alone, Christmas can be a painful and lonely time. Jemma Regis, from Alone Behind Closed Doors, is making a difference by preparing and delivering food hampers. You can help too, by nominating someone and transforming their Christmas.
  • STOP International is a charity that gives vulnerable Indian orphans a fighting chance of success. This Christmas, you can you can join STOP international, transforming lives and leaving a legacy of hope! To give a special Christmas donation visit:
  • It’s so easy to disconnect ourselves from our responsibility of the planet by using convenience as an excuse.
The truth of how much we can impact God’s creation for the better is pretty revolutionary.
This Christmas, do your part in tending to the nature that God has blessed us with by donating to WWF.
  •  Pastor Sam has been supporting this charity for a few years now and he loves how you can personally keep in contact with the child that you are sponsoring.
Receiving the letters from them is very inspirational. Following how they grow and develop is something that is priceless. Signup today and give a child an opportunity to enjoy some of the privileges you enjoy everyday.

  • If you’re tired of buying presents for people who seem to have everything, why not buy something that really makes a difference? You can visit the Choose Love pop-up shop in Soho to buy items for refugees. You can buy anything from a child’s coat, to hot food, baby care products, tents, and more. The store is set up to guide you through the experience of being a refugee from arrival to facing the future. Check it out!
